Carbon Reduction Activities
Employees from across BMW Group, BMW Financial Services and Alphabet came together for training sessions with Lead With Sustainability to embed carbon awareness across multiple areas of their organisation.
Accredited Carbon Literacy training sessions were run for senior leaders and mixed groups of staff:
- Leadership Buy-in: CEOs from BMW, BMW Financial Services and Alphabet UK completed the course and publicly championed it at company-wide meetings.
- Workplace Culture Shift: Employees across a wide range of departments gained better understanding of how and why they should seek carbon reductions.
- Functional Training and Workshops: Specific training was held for the sales and the marketing teams. These were followed by brainstorming workshops identifying areas where these functions could cut emissions and costs.
