Lead With Sustainability was founded and is run by Anne Snelson – a Certified Carbon Literacy trainer.
Anne has decades of experience in strategy, operations, marketing and communications across a wide variety of sectors and roles. She’s passionate about sustainability and the need to drive change.
Through Anne’s Carbon Literacy Project training, she helps companies of all shapes and sizes cut emissions and gain competitive advantage by focusing on sustainability – influencing supply chains, stakeholders, customers and staff, so each organisation becomes a leader in their field.

Hi there
I’m Anne Snelson, Founder of Lead with Sustainability and a Certified Carbon Literacy Trainer. My aim is to help businesses of all shapes and sizes realise what they can do to change the world for the better – by operating more sustainably, reducing emissions and in the process save money and work more efficiently too.
Without major change in the way we live over the next 5-10 years, we’re heading for some pretty hard times. That’s something I’m not prepared to contemplate without doing all I can.

My Credentials
Throughout my career, I’ve done my best to drive change. From starting my career as a Government Statistician to presenting at VeloCity in order to help motorists cycle more. Discussing car sharing on Radio 4’s Today Programme to promoting Emissions Based Parking across Westminster City Council, where they reduced journeys by an estimated 250,000 per year.
I’m a lifelong learner having worked across numerous sectors in comms and marketing. I’ve a BSc in Statistics, an MBA (distinction), and a Diploma in Marketing (I was a distance learning tutor for a while). Then in 2023, I achieved 93% in the University of Cambridge’s Institute of Sustainability Leadership, Business Management course.
